At Coleman Mini Bike, we believe that powering adventures and creating smiles is part of our DNA. For over a century, the Coleman company has been bringing people together through iconic outdoor products that ignite a passion for exploration across generations.
We carry this same spirit into manufacturing fun, rugged, go-anywhere mini bikes ready for wherever the trail leads. Our goal is to build classic American rides engineered for real thrill-seekers not content to just watch life pass by. We want to inspire all ages to get outdoors and make lasting memories worth repeating.
Our History and Heritage
The Coleman Mini Bike story traces its roots back to 1900 when William Coffin Coleman first began manufacturing gas-powered lanterns in Kingfisher, Oklahoma under the company name W.C. Coleman Inc. He pioneered a lantern design that would revolutionize camping forever with steady, reliable, portable illumination.
Despite the devastating challenges of the Great Depression, Coleman’s innovative products that opened up the outdoors to more people struck a chord. Throughout the 1930s and 1940s, Coleman expanded into manufacturing camp stove cookware that also became an iconic staple of the camping experience.
This heritage of quality craftsmanship carried over when the company merged with McGraw Electric Company in 1959 to form the Coleman Company we know today. Over the following decades, Coleman continued releasing new innovations like the revolutionary Coleman 5-gallon jug that defined weekend warriors everywhere heading out for fun and adventure.
Flash forward to today, and the Coleman powersports division carries forward our founder’s passion for products allowing people to explore and share good times in the great outdoors. Our American-built mini bikes encapsulate that same spirit of freedom and fun whether cruising neighborhood streets or traversing backwoods trails.
Just like our legendary lanterns and coolers before them, our bikes are built to last thanks to rugged dependable construction. We carefully manufacture each model in our Oklahoma-based factory using time-tested techniques perfected over our long company history. The Coleman name proudly lives on every mini bike we produce.
Made in America
A key point of pride for Coleman Mini Bike is our commitment to American manufacturing. In an era of many companies shipping jobs and production overseas, we purposefully invest in US facilities and workers to build the mini bikes we ride and love.
Supporting local communities through living-wage jobs and purchasing from US parts suppliers is central to our company values. We take immense satisfaction seeing our home state of Oklahoma represented so prominently during the manufacturing process.
Producing domestically allows us to maintain the tightest quality control and respond more nimbly if design tweaks become necessary. You also get the assurance of lasting All-American construction when buying a Coleman. Our bikes are built to handle this country’s diverse terrain and embrace our shared sense of adventure etched into the brand’s DNA.
Our Facility
Our dedicated mini bike production and R&D facility resides in Kingfisher, OK just a short drive from historic Route 66. This factory has been manufacturing Coleman products for over 50 years from lanterns to cooksets and now our two-wheel fleet.
The talented team located here leverages decades of proven equipment fabrication knowledge combined with innovative new processes. We’ve invested substantially in upgrading machinery, optimizing layouts, and expanding capacity to meet surging mini bike demand while maintaining exceptional quality benchmarks.
In addition to fabrication, the factory houses rider training courses and test tracks right on site. Our engineers can take prototypes out for real-world shakedown runs the moment they are assembled to immediately evaluate handling, power delivery, and reliability. This tight feedback loop translates to bikes reaching customers tuned for optimal performance.
We offer mini bike fans tours of the Coleman factory to see firsthand the care and pride our workers put into each model produced in Oklahoma. This behind-the-scenes look highlights how our brand’s legacy endures through modern manufacturing craftsmanship.

Quality Components
Our mini bikes are only as reliable as the components used. That’s why Coleman Mini Bike trusts only top-name parts from reputable suppliers proven durable in the field. Build quality starts here.
Engines and Drivetrain
Every Coleman bike utilizes name-brand engines ideal for its size and purpose. Our engineers work closely with suppliers like Lifan, Loncin, and Zongshen to spec engines with optimal displacement, torque, and power curves for great acceleration and top speed specific to each model.
Transmissions, brakes, clutches, filters, carburetors, exhausts, and all other critical components undergo rigorous scrutiny and testing before earning a place on our bikes. We know proven parts mean proven performance.
Frames and Suspension
Coleman frames represent the core skeleton holding everything together through years of rugged use. We construct durable steel frames in-house specially engineered to match individual bike handling characteristics. Every weld and structural component is meticulously fabricated and inspected.
Paired with name-brand suspension components like hydraulic shocks by KYB and springs by Moose, our refined frames absorb impacts and rider inputs for comfortable stability mile after mile.
Wheels and Tires
Rugged wheels ready for any terrain feature reinforced rims and quality hubs holding up to hardcore motocross abuse without bending. OEM and aftermarket tire choices equip our mini bikes for pavement, hardpack, dirt, gravel, sand, and mud riding.
We carefully vet tire and wheel suppliers to ensure optimal traction, impact resilience, handling feedback, and longevity across our model range. Upgraded aftermarket wheel and tire kits are also available to customize your bike’s capabilities.
Finish Quality
No detail is overlooked regarding fit, finish, and aesthetics. Coleman mini bikes represent classic American power with styling as rugged as the components beneath. Across handlebars, fenders, body plastics, graphics, and seat materials, every piece integrates seamlessly.
